The neighborhood

Salt City Market is located at 484 South Salina Street, where the heart of Downtown meets the culturally rich South and West Sides of Syracuse. Downtown has always been a hub for shopping, the arts, nightlife, and of course, great food! Whether it’s ice skating in the winter or the Taste of Syracuse in the summer, there’s always something to do Downtown! To learn more about Downtown Syracuse, visit the Downtown Committee website here.

Salt City Market has a private, 30-space parking lot for our customers. We’re also just a few steps away from many public parking options, like:

  • Clinton Street Garage (401 S Clinton St)
  • Trolley Lot (102 Dickerson St)
  • Hotel Syracuse Garage (100 Harrison Pl)
  • And abundant street parking!

Centro Buses

Traveling to the Salt City Market by bus couldn’t be easier—we’re just a few doors down from the Centro Syracuse Transit Hub. To get to the Market from the Transit Hub, walk north along Salina Street (toward the A4/Mattydale bus bay) until you cross West Onondaga St/Harrison St. For more information and to view bus schedules, visit the Centro website here.

The Salt City Market features a bike rack, located next to the Clinton Street entrance, where guests are welcome to lock up their bikes. The Market does not provide bike locks and are not responsible for lost or stolen bikes.
