Digestive bitters for Spring – Join us as we discuss the medicinal properties of bitter herbs like dandelion and chicory, which our bodies can utilize to wake up the metabolism for the active seasons ahead and just so happen to be some of the earliest plants we can forage locally. During class we will put together a digestive tonic made fresh from these plants, discuss how and when to utilize it and chat about some other magic that can be found deep down in these early spring roots.

 

About your Instructor: Lauren Eadline is an integrative primary care provider, clinical herbalist and plant medicine educator at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She also teaches in the community with the Syracuse Herbal Study Group and nationally with the American Herbalist Guild. She is excited to bring some of her expertise to the Salt City Market and loves getting involved in the community. Lauren lives with her husband Brad, her two stepchildren and her two year old daughter in Baldwinsville.
