Elemental Ayurveda is a grass-roots program developed by the Wise Earth School of Ayurveda. The Elements of nature give us the tools that we need for balance, in our mind, body, and spirit. The is an experiential class, so come prepared to activate taste buds, smell amazing aromas, and participate in the kitchen. The evening will start with a little Polarity Yoga, designed to waken your energy and calm the system down. Come as you are – No mats needed. Next, we will instruct how to create a seasonal spice blend that will bring all the 6 tastes (sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent & astringent) to your plate. This blend is designed to balance, and enhance your digestive strength during the harsh winter months. Roasting and hand grinding spices is a very meditative practice that will awaken all your senses. We will use this blend to create a delicious meal to share.
