BECOME A FOOD MERCHANT

@ SALT CITY MARKET

SALT CITY MARKET is about food, culture and helping people establish financial security by doing what they love.

We are looking for talented, driven people who want to start a food business and could use training and support. Our first priority is communities of color and immigrant communities, a valuable and largely untapped resource. That said, we believe that a mix of people from across cultures, experiences and income levels = a better learning experience for all of us.

We offer :

  • 9 stalls, each equipped with a new, custom kitchen

  • Very affordable rent

  • Expert training and support

  • Community of learners, all of us helping one another grow

Want to learn more? Come to one of our spring info sessions:

  • Saturday, 4/20, 10:00 - 11:30 am @ TheLikeMinded, 2223 S Salina

  • Saturday, 4/20, 12:30 - 2:00 pm @ Workers’ Center, 2013 E Genesee*

*Thanks to Workers’ Center for providing a Spanish Language Interpreter for this session! We will have Spanish language versions of our key info sheets available, too.

**We encourage speakers of other languages and people learning English to attend one of these sessions; we highly suggest partnering with a family member or friend to help interpret throughout this process. We will have our key info sheets available in Arabic, Burmese, Hindi, Somali, Spanish and Swahili.

PS - We’ve tried to capture some widely spoken languages in town; that said, if you don’t see your language above & would like to help build a bridge to your community, we’d love to talk!
